| The year 2002 NSF GK-12 Undergraduate Fellowships will begin May 13, 2002
and run through April 30, 2003. Applicants will be notified regarding their
acceptance by April 15, 2002. For more information on this program, contact

To apply for an NSF GK-12 Undergraduate Fellowship, please send:
- A completed application which includes
a statement indicating your interest and experience in contributing
to the K-12 education community and working with diverse populations,
- An unofficial transcript for all your college work, and
- A letter of recommendation from a faculty member.

Please note that you must be a US citizen or
permanent resident to be eligible to apply.

If you are selected as a 2002-2003 GK-12 Fellow,
you must be able to commit to participating in the full 12-month
program by May 1, 2002.

To participate in the program, you must provide
and maintain active medical insurance coverage during the entire
program. (The fellowship does not provide payment of your health
insurance.)
