2004 AERA Presentation in San Diego, CA:

Sharing Strengths: Educational Partnerships That Make a Difference

In 2000, Rice University was awarded a grant to support its involvement in both graduate and K-12 education. With this new program, the National Science Foundation recognizes the important contribution that outstanding graduate and undergraduate students can make in addressing the challenging issues in K-12 education. Because of the key contributions that we can potentially make in this area, Rice University, in collaboration with the University of Houston, central and downtown campuses, was among the first institutions in the nation to receive this award.

Please note that you must be a US citizen or permanent resident to be eligible to apply.
